CATRIN Researchers Share Cutting-Edge Findings at AMU Invited Lecture Series in Modern Catalysis

Researchers from the Czech Advanced Technology and Research Institute (CATRIN) had the distinct honor of presenting their groundbreaking research at the prestigious AMU Invited Lecture Series in Modern Catalysis 4 at the Center for Advanced Technologies – Centrum Zaawansowanych Technologii, Adam Mickiewicz University (AMU) in Poznań. This event gathered leading experts and innovators in the field of catalysis, providing an excellent platform for sharing the latest advances in scientific research.

During the event, Radek Zbořil presented a lecture titled “Low-dimensional Materials in Advanced Catalytic Applications,” which explored the unique properties and potential of low-dimensional materials in driving catalytic processes. His talk shed light on the innovative approaches in material science that are advancing catalytic performance for a range of industrial and environmental applications.

Štěpán Kment also delivered an insightful presentation, discussing “The Potential of Single-Atom-Based Co-Catalysts in Photo(electro)catalysis for Renewable Energy Applications.” His research focused on the emerging role of single-atom catalysts in enhancing the efficiency of photo(electro)catalysis, a promising technology for sustainable energy solutions, including water splitting and CO2 reduction.

The event was an excellent opportunity for CATRIN researchers to showcase their contributions to the evolving landscape of modern catalysis and renewable energy. We are grateful to the organizers for providing this platform to exchange knowledge and ideas, and we look forward to building on these connections through future collaborations.

Thank you to all the participants and organizers for making this event a success!
